Provincial Health Ethics Network Annual Conference and General Meeting

May 4, 2007

Capri Hotel, Red Deer, Alberta

Agenda

Traditionally, the field of health ethics has devoted much of its energy to addressing complex issues arising in healthcare. Yet beyond the fold of traditional health ethics lies a wide swath of issues often relegated to secondary status: ethics and the determinants of health, environmental ethics, animal rights, global ethics and the ethics of marginalized populations, to cite a few. The conference will provide an opportunity to explore a number of these issues and offer suggestions on ways of addressing them.
